DESCRIPTION
In thirty year’s time our phones, our economic transactions and even our pace of life may have become faster, but the system may struggle to keep up. Europe, with its longstanding bureaucratic superstructure, may still be dependent on one of the most robust technologies around: paper. Our bureaucracy will undoubtedly continue to exist – but will the way we interpret hard data and statistics change?
AOPP.1, ’Audience Outreach Programme Part 1’, mixes music, dance and audience interaction through a live poll. Audience members are asked to respond to questions regarding the societal issues of the future on an online platform. This is presented as sociological research, of which the results are interpreted by a dancer and musician and translated into movement and sound.
