Behold the running track.
When I first came here, I felt a burning desire to run. To set off like a charged bullet into the distance, my feet skidding along the white lines, my chest compact, reaching ever closer, ever further, my focus sharp on a road without end.
WILD ACCESS intends to confront the imaginary infinite with the limits of the body. Part audio walk, part performance, it asks: what transformations in the body, in the breath, are brought about by endurance training? Where do we encounter the thresholds to ourselves, to each other? Can our senses guide us through the artificial, the unexpected and the unknown?
Out in the open, on a site symbolically extending ad infinitum, we set our gaze on the horizon. What if we were to look sideways instead?

Eine Tanzveranstaltung auf einer Leichtathletikbahn
WILD ACCESS ist ein Tanzstück, das Leichtathletik und Tanz miteinander verbindet. Zwei Tänzerinnen konditionieren ihrer Körper in Belastung, Ausdauer und Durchhaltevermögen. Auf der Leichtathletikbahn der Sportanlage Monumentenstraße erzählen sie ihre Geschichten und vermischen ihr Training mit einer intuitiven Form des Tanzes, die neue Blickwinkel bietet und einen Raum für die Sinne öffnet.
